Today is our son's fifteenth birthday. John is growing into such a fine young man, but where did that beautiful little boy go? I'll try to post one of his baby pictures so that you can see what I mean. We will celebrate his birthday a little tonight and a lot this weekend. All of this is overshadowed, however, by our concern about Hurricane Frances now steaming her way toward Florida and the southeastern coast. These two in combination remind us so much of the visit of Hurricane Hugo to our area when John was just three weeks old.
We are really starting to get ready now. Our final packing list is almost finished (with the help of so many e-friends who have already traveled), but the moving around of bedrooms and setting up of bunkbeds has not yet happened. We are trying to make hurricane prep and pack at the same. Work, of course, just keeps on coming. BUT, we are getting excited! Praying alot, too, for a sense of humor, flexibility and that God will lead us to the family members He is sending us to bring home. We know they are there. Please keep us in your prayers.
