Hello all! We arrived yesterday in Kyiv and were tired puppies. All has gone well. Our appointment at the National Adoption Center was this morning at 10:15 am and we received a referral for a beautiful sibling group of three in Gorodyna. They are a boy (12), girl (6), and boy (5). We are so excited about meeting them tomorrow (Friday). John did some sightseeing this afternoon while Jennie napped. Everything has gone very smoothly. Oleg, Dima, Alexy and team have been terrific so far. The apartment where we are staying is spacious with lots of light. In the back is a small green/play space. There also must be a school nearby as Jennie heard a childrens' choir practicing. Beautiful sounds wafted across the streets of Kyiv. We are staying near the NAC, the circus, and a great little supermarket - The Tika. It has been amusing to try to figure what is what - especially in the dairy section. Remember anybody traveling this way soon that the supermarkets don't give you bags...you can buy them, but a canvas tote would have been great to have. Tonight we had supper with Don Z. (of Washington, DC), his two new sons (Court is on Monday for them), and Don's folks. It was a good time. We'll try to upload some photos as soon as we can. We've been having trouble getting the computer connected in our apartment but hope we'll be sucessful soon. Lots more details later. Love to all and thanks for all of your prayers. John and Jennie
